Born in Orange County, the son of renowned worship leader, John Wickham, moved to San Diego in the middle of high school. This gave birth to his career. By 18, Wickham had released his debut album, Give You My World, including the hit song "Shining". Surprised by the good reception he began working on twelve new songs for his self-titled album, released April 25, 2006 with Simple Records. Wickham's second release with Simple / INO Records was Cannons, released in 2007. Cannons was inspired by explosions, guns, and CS Lewis' book, "Voyage of the Dawn Treader". Wickham said in an interview with ChristianityToday.com that the album is " about how the universe explodes with the glory of God and how we have to go with His song ". The track 'Jesus Lord of Heaven' from Cannons has been translated into seven different languages.
On August 8, 2008 Wickham released a live worship album called Singalong, which was recorded with Solid Rock Church in Portland, Oregon with 3,000 fans present. The album was released as a free download available only from its website and received over 8,000 downloads within a week of release.
