Beach worship is something you and your students do not want to miss out on. Before one of the evening sessions of each camp week, some of the BigStuf Band worship leaders join on the beach and lead your students into worship of our amazing Creator. The most beautiful part is that everyone is staring at one of the most incredible views of God’s creation while standing in the sand with the sound of the waves right beside them.

16. WHAT IS THE GROUP TIME LISTED ON THE SCHEDULE ALL ABOUT?
After each evening session, leaders join with their students in a time to debrief from the session. Amazing discussions begin to take place as students ask questions and simply share the work God is doing in them. It is a great time for leaders to truly mentor their students as the students begin to open up more and more.
17. IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR CAMP?
There are always several questions about appropriate attire on the beach as well as in the Big Room, and we are aware that some youth leaders have different standards than others. The reason for our parameters is so that the focus of camp will not be altered and so that we do not have to waste energy being dress code police. It is of great importance that your leadership properly guides the focus of camp. You may or may not agree, but we want to keep camp with as little distractions as possible. We expect to see no navels during camp, so we do not allow two-piece bathing suits. Yes, we only allow one-piece bathing suits. We understand that not all one-pieces are quite modest enough, so when you talk to your students please be clear on what is and is not appropriate beachwear. We do not like to see t-shirts with the wrong kind of message either, so you may want to set boundaries with your students on this as well. In general, the dress code is to be smart and be respectful.
18. WHAT DO MY STUDENTS NEED TO BRING?
Students need to bring beach towels, sunscreen, water bottles, flip-flops, one-piece bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts, Bibles, and journals. Bed linens and bath towels are provided in the hotel rooms. Students may also want to bring extra spending money for snacks, arcade games, and the BigStuf Store (t-shirts, CDs, etc.).
